In 1997, our Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Jaume Costa Ramisa designed the first industrial wood-burning stove with fan. The high prices of diesel and surplus wood fuels in the general carpentry sector presented a business opportunity and MET MANN began designing, manufacturing and marketing a first 50 kW model with axial fan.
After a few years, a new model was incorporated with a centrifugal fan that allows to channel the air, after a time and at the request of the market, a superior model of 100kW was developed to cover bigger surfaces and to be able to use wood residues of greater wingspan.
After these 20 years and with several thousands of units sold in Europe and South America we continue to manufacture and improve the performance of our industrial wood stoves ECO POL.
