Biomass
An environmentally friendly alternative
We manufacture pellet-fired hot air generators and industrial wood-burning stoves. Equipment designed for fast and efficient heating of industrial, agricultural and livestock premises.
Environmentally friendly fuel
Biomass is a renewable energy source derived from organic plant or animal matter that acts as an environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral and economical alternative to fossil fuels.
It is considered an ‘environmentally friendly fuel’ mainly because of its CO2 neutrality. The carbon released during combustion is the same as that absorbed by the plant during its growth, maintaining the balance of the natural carbon cycle.
Types of biomass
There are different types of fuel known as biomass:
- Pellets
- Firewood
- Nutshells and shells
- Wood chips
Currently, the most widely used fuels are PELLETS and FIREWOOD due to their high calorific value, low ash residue, ease of storage and, above all, their suitability for use in stoves and generators.
